A. Set up a production site

B. Find sand and gravel
 



C. Sieve the sand and gravel
   
 
   
 

D. Wash the filtration sand and gravel
 
E. Make the concrete container  



E1. Prepare the mold
   





Lubricating the mold
   






Assemble the mold
   





Fasten the bottom bolts first
   
   






Tape the end of the outlet hose
   






Cut the hose that will lie at the bottom of the filter
   






Cover, tape, and plug the hose
   


E2. Pour the filter




Level the mold
   





Measure the  ingredients for the concrete
   





Mix the concrete by rolling the tarp
   
   
   
   



Fill the mold with concrete
   





All the while pounding the daylights out of the mold
   
   





Smooth the concrete

Remove the bolts
   
 
   




Collect the bolts
   





Remove the inner mold
   
 
   
 
   






Retrieve wood plug from hose


(long arm preferred)
   






Remove outlet plate
   
E4. Finish concrete container







Cut the umbilical
   





Fill filter with water




Check for leaks
